I'm all confused on threaded BB standards.

I've got a set of RF Atlas cranks that need a new BB. Am I forced to go with RF again or could I use anything else that has the axle right width and frame spacing? i.e. 30mm, Shimano, Hope, Rotor...

From what I can recall - SRAM and Truativ have their own thing going on, and DUB is a whole other game.

I’ve never been a fan of race face bottom brackets. They have a terrible lifespan. All shimano for me. I have a set of race face cranks I’ve used with shimano bb for years.

For bottom brackets you need the spindle diameter (24, 30, dub), interface type (threaded, PF) and width.

You definitely dont have to go with RF BB's. They are cheap, but dont last all that long. I run CK PF 30mm on my current ride with RF SIXc cranks and have had no issues over the past 3 seasons.

Where do you buy those? Anywhere in the comox valley?

Their ups worldwide shipping is 116$ for one PF BB. That's hilarious. 116 to post two bearings?
