anybody happen to know offhand which bars have the most backsweep?

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

SQLab has a  12 and 16 degree sweep I think.  Andrew has either reviewed or mentioned them a few times in his posts.

The Jones H-Bar has 45 set of sweep. Not something I’d like to ride off road.

My preference is for the Salsa Salt Flat, 800mm version. 11degrees is the sweet spot for my abused, broken hands and forearms.

I've got some 11 degree Salsa bars in a 750mm width I think that you can have.

JBV's link doesn't even show for me for some reason. Anyways here's a couple links to reviews of the SQLabs and Salsa bars.

SQLabs: https://nsmb.com/articles/defying-convention-sqlab-12%C2%BA-and-16%C2%BA-sweep-bars/

Due to a previous injury on my left wrist I experience a bit of pain between the end of the radius and the small bones of my thumb when climbing for more than about 20minutes. I don't notice it really when descending but it may be that the pain is not significant enough to notice it with everything else that's going on and the constant body position changes compared to steady climbing. When I'm climbing I find it's easy to correct by simply having my hands rest on top of the bars and angled out slightly - hence the desire for more sweep. Cheap me say just deal with it that way and spendy me says get a couple new bars. Thanks for the info gents!

Really? That'd be sweet as I can figure out what might be the best range of sweep to use. Thanks - sent you a pm.

Just remember that the more sweep you have, the shorter the cockpit is going to feel.  You might have to increase stem length again to compensate.

Very true. I think Ritchey has a bar that sweeps forward then back to give the angle but the same reach.
