u know it…

the Avid lever is NOt fragile… they ae easily as tuff as any other stock brake out there…

when i had my Avid mechs and Avid SD levers. i didtched my bike tons and never lost a lever… i think i managed to bend one once but it was still totally usable afterwards…

I'm seriously thinking of ordering a set of those.
I can sell my Hayes to my bro, and order up those at cost so it'd be damn near free for me to switch.

I wanna see what people say about em first though, but judging by the quality of the mechs I highly doubt we'll be disappointed.

Not one production set has left the Avid Warehouse without a bunch of paperwork prior to its departure.

Mine will be here once I get an EP price. Who know's, I might have mine before IFO get's his…. The race is on :)

Avid makes some of the best levers on the market. They look a good bit more minimalistic than my HAYES purple levers, but I have no worries about flimsyness. And the Avid system is supposedly just as modular as Hayes is. So you break something, you don't need a whole new lever.

those levers look mighty uncomfortable… like they were designed for a different species. i cant see those levers being ergonimically correct in any way at all.

as for the actual brakes/braking… i have no idea. the description sounds like any hydro set.
