Are there any single crown forks that don't creak?

My Helm started creaking after about 10 rides. Warranty csu. Ran it on my hardtail for summer, was ok. Put it on my privateer last month. Less than 10 rides in, creaky again. WTF?

Are these only good for beach cruisers? I bought it because it was supposed to be one of the most creak resistant options around.

My Ohlins has been ok but the $$ it tough to swallow. I gave up on a fox 38 as well.

I had a lyrik for a while that was ok. Maybe back to rock shox? So frustrating. How can a $1500 fork not be pretty much bomb proof? 10 rides seems like a shitty lifespan.

Sorry, I am frustrated. Lol

I've experianced headset area creak twice  on a fox 36 and twice on a Zeb,

clean the headset/ stem area and lightly grease surfaces and the creak goes away

it seems to come back 1 year later but then I just do the same thing

YMMV

Thanks for the thoughts, but this is creak between stanchions and the crown. Initially diagnosed by turning the bars while holding the wheel stationary, then pulling the fork and putting the steerer in the workshop vice and push/pull each leg and hearing them make bad noises - there is no headset or crown race in play when doing that.

Ive never had any creaking issues on any of the RS forks Ive had. Cannot say the same for the few Fox forks ive had over the years.

No creaking from my DVO after over 2 years.

Previous Fox creaked even after a replacement CSU.

Yeah that is true, I have a really beat to shit diamond that does not creak somehow. I'll actually put it back in service for now.

I made a Diamond creak over a 2.5 year span, but my Onyx has been fine for 3 years now.

No creaking with my Lyrik! I had the same issue with a gen 1 Helm, though it was minor.

I ran a Cane Creek Helm Mk1 and Mk2 on a Geometron that was way beyond CC's design brief for head tube angles I'm sure. But they both held up great. I keep hoping CC will make a 38 type fork of the same style. No creaking from either. The Fox 38 I had afterwards creaked like hell and was generally a lemon but the Zeb I replaced that with has been a champion, an absolute pillar of silent reliability.
