My wife thinks it's because hardtails are the cro-magnum of bikes.

Anyone know  if this is the real reason?

Im purely guessing that since he makes steel hardtails that the name Chromag probably comes from Chromoly? Im not even sure what cro-magnum is....

I do know that his mum designed and drew the logo for him though.

I think the Chromag Origins story says how they got the name.

Hope they can continue to focus on quality made in BC products rather than overseas stuff.

I love them to death but I’ve started looking elsewhere for my cycling needs. :/

Imagine landing in a position where you’re the head of a respected brand without planning for it… In a sense, it’s how Chromag was formed, but on the flip-side, not at all. Ian Ritz, the founder and owner of Chromag Bikes mcdvoice customer survey
