Right side. My bad. It's a maxle. In fact the maxle lever on the other side broke too and now the axle is stuck in the frame and half the hub. Fawk.
Remove the droppout bolts should make it is easier to extract

Ive broken a few qr's by landing like a hack and broken a few dropouts,but never snapped the axle.

12X142 axles become weak at the threads if they are overly tightened. I have seen both bolt-down and Maxles break like this. :devil:

I snapped an old CK axle years ago….not nearly as dramatic as yours though. The awesome thing is that they replaced it with the new design for free….even when I told them it was used and old, awesome company. Running new CK's now. [HTML_REMOVED]3 them long time.
Which side was your lever on? I've seen and heard of a few people breaking axles after the lever gets caught in their brake.
