Anybody running xx1? How's it holding up?

I picked up a 30t Raceface Narrow / Wide ring the other day so I guess they are not far from shops. I'd say the chainline is an improvement (I've never been a fan of 50mm chainlines….). I only have an 'East Hastings' drive train (10sp with XT Clutch derailleur) but so far no dropped chains and a nice quiet drive train.

Picked up a Raceface NW for the Hardtail and the FS bike from Cove. $40 not many left. I'll admit I'm pleasantly surprised how well they work. A couple enduro races (Shore and Sumas) and a bunch of days smashing around. no dropped chain….even intentionally back pedalling over chunder, where typically I would alway pull the chain off with just an upper XC guide. Impressed!

Edit: Clutch derailleur on both bikes;-)

Just rode a day of park on my XX1-equipped Chilcotin with a 28T front ring and the top gear (28-10) worked pretty great for me on A-Line and other "flow" trails.

However I made a little adjustment to the cable tension and then the thumb-paddle was feeling really stiff for some reason. So I fiddled with it some more and got the tension sorted out better, but when I'm shifting through the gears it ALWAYS shifts 2 gears at once except the top 2 rings. So I am getting 6 individual clicks each direction. WTF?

So am I goin to be stuck using the XX1 chain or will a KMC 10 spd or the new 11 spd road chains work?

Why slag free swag?

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.

As far as I know, 11spd chains all work. I've been using a Campagnolo Chorus chain on my XX1 set up w/o any issue

Do I have to call RaceFace direct to get a ring off them or does a CDN distributor carry them yet?

Chromag should just make a 104BCD Narrow Wide ring already

Thanks
Looking on KMC website the 10spd and 11spd chains share the same dimensions 1/2"x11/128"
I'll give it a go, my KMC 10 has faired better than my XTR 10 chain so far
