i could be a total gimp but every time i have to reinstall my front wheel (easton havoc on a 2010 boxxer) i have a hell of a time wrestling with the little removable hub adaptors/spacers…you would think that the little o rings would hold them in place enough to get the wheel into place but they like to pop out on one side or the other as you try and get the wheel in place. am i tho only one that is having this brain melting fight?

Any company that makes a hub with bits that fall off when i remove the wheel will get none of my money.

Wifes bike came with Sun Ringle Demon hubs a few years back, and i wanted to track them down and poop on their doorstep every time i had to install the wheel (every time she rode due to storage issues!!!1).

There is no need for the hub to be designed that way, it is only doe like that to save 2c.

on a similar note (sorry for thread jacking), why won't my QR 20 on a RS Domain unscrew? it unscrews on one leg, but remains stuck on the other, thus pulling the legs apart. Any simple way to fix this? or should I use a bigger hammer as they say?

maybe not a bigger hammer but a little tap should do the trick. Sometimes the bearings are really tight on the 20mm axle. If its been on for a while it might need a bigger hammer though
