Hi guys, just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this bike, looking for something I can ride fairly aggressively and take to coast/whistler when the time comes, also looking for something affordable.http://www.singletracks.com/bike-reviews/Freeride-bikes/Airborne-Toxin_11636

PinkBike reviewed it. It sounds decent enough (at that pricepoint) for shuttle/lift assist riding, but a bit portly if there's gonna be much climbing involved.

Have you looked for a used 26" AM bike? You could probably find a much lighter bike like a Rocky Slayer or something at that price point with better components that would make more sense for the majority of riding that you'll be doing, and can still handle the occasional day in the bikepark.

With Avid Eixir 3 brakes you'll be the fastest rider in the Park.

The bike could be a good base for uprading as things break (which they will….). Personally I'd be looking for a used bike at that price too.

I'm very open to a 26" bike, I'm actually also quite open to just buying a really nice hard tail and getting more into XC it's where most of my experience is anyway.
