Do you know any machinists? Other then that OEM is the only real option for hub axles. Fork and frame through axles have tons of aftermarket options

I broke my maxle, snapped at the thread. It is actually a common thing apparently. Anyway I tried to buy a Chromag one because it's not made of chinesium but they shipped it wrong and I wound up having to buy another maxle.

I'm tempted to buy a broaching attachment and just make axles myself.

I haven't seen any of these in person, but these people make through axles of most sizes:

I’m using a One Up through axle on my 36 and a Wolftooth on the rear of my Remedy. I damaged the original DTSwiss through axle. I had mushroomed the lever end such that I could not reorient the ever after tightening. I did not want to attempt a repair until I had an axle in hand. I made sure to tighten the axles with my mini tool so that they aren’t too tight.

Definitely do not use an axle from Rocky https://www.pinkbike.com/news/field-test-2020-rocky-mountain-slayer-carbon-90.html
