I need to add about 5ccs oil in each leg of my 888, but can I just add in more oil? Or do I have to drain the fork and add all new oil. I am concerned with mixing different brands of oil. I'll most likely use golden spectro 7.5W.

Just add your 5cc of oil in and see how the fork feels. In my 888RC I have 205 ml of oil in each leg and get still get full travel Spectro is good fork oil.

I was more concerned about mixing different oils from different companies.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've added Motul to the stock oil in 888's without any problems. That said, the golden spectro is a nicer oil than what you have in there right now, it wouldn't hurt to put all the golden spectro in.
