I have the chance at picking up a few items, frame, bars, and stem more specifically and was curious what everyone thought on the subject. Heres what I'd like to do before the end of summer if I was to get it.

Frame: 13" .243 Racing, Horiz. dropouts.
Bar: .243 Racing
Stem: .243 Racing
Fork: Marz DJ1 (Flick at a later date)
Headset: FSA Pig DH Sealed Bearing
Brake: Rear Hayes HFX Mag DH
Cranks: Azonic 3 Piece
BB: Azonic Forged
Pedalss: Axiom Road Gap's
Drivetrain: Macneil front ring w/ 36/12 SS Tooth Set, KMC Chain
Front Wheel: Formula Front hub, Axiom DJ SS Hub Rear. Tell me rims???
Tires: Make a suggestion

Lemme know what ya think and if you would bother building it if you were getting Frame, Bar and Stem for $450.

Thanks y'all

Build it. Build it. Build it.

Oh ya, you should build it.:D

Being an agoraphobic adrenaline junkie would be pretty convenient, because you could get your rush from just going to the store to get some milk instead of having to jump off a mountain or out of an airplane.

indeed.. you won't get much acceleration with that

but if it's STRICTLY street, then it should be OK.

i've used 36 / 13 for street for a bit.. wasn't that good.. it's all personal preference so meh

yah 36/12 sounds insane. i have 32/16 lol, i can get enough speed to clear big stairgaps and still do some slower speed stuff.

ahh, do u want dual 24s? get arrow dhx rims either way.

arrow launch tires aswell.

and personally i dont like .243 bars just cause 3 inches of rise is way to big. wait for some alu ones or i suggest a atomlab aircorp stem with a easton scandium bar or a planet x goliath if u are on a budget.

do it jamie. Run 36/16 it's awesome. you can still accelerate, and you can still get plenty of speed to do anything (i was racing cars last night downtown and winning)

for rims, just get doubletracks. cheap, strong if built right, and give it that stealth effect.

tires…well it depends on what your gonna be using the bike for.

Hookworms are crap unless you plan on doing absolutely nothing other then riding street and park with it. I suggest something like these http://www.arrowracing.com/tires/the_launch.html and that way you can still rip the dirt jumps and whatnot and still have some decent strong tires too.

run dual 26" and get michelin smi slicks. the one with the knobs on the outside and the treads on the inside. i'd so those would work over a Hookwork. 450$ is a pretty good price IMO of course.

If you're interested in an Atom Lab Aircorp Stem PM or Email me and we'll get you set up on pricing and everything in no time. You can see the specs here:
