A good shop with kid's helmets?

My boy is 1 and finally ready for the bike seat. Can anyone recommend a place in Vancouver where I can find a selection of helmets?

I'd like to stay away from Sponge-bob, Dora, or Spider Man themes. If only I could find a Giro CF Remedy in XXXXS.

BSP has the Giro Me2. It's the best for the little ones imho.

Comes in blue (pigs), red (ducks) or yellow (chickens), with no bs tv characters in sight.

Here's a link for pics:

The Lazer stuff for kids are nice. My son has the shark one. Any norco p[HTML_REMOVED]a account can get it.

amazing how hard it is to find kids helmets w/o lame graphics. granted, kid's perspective of cool can be quite different. our current lid has sharks. at least it's non-branded, and sharks ARE pretty awesome. next lid will be an xs skate lid which, thankfully, are available without the horridness.

aside rant: i fvcking hate branded kid's stuff. why, oh why does everything, no matter how banal have to have emo / cars / dora, etc on it?? my god. my 5yr old niece has disney princess toothpaste. wtf? awesomely enough, when our (2.5yr old) kid sees a pic of 'emo', he rightly calls it a clownfish (his knowledge of marine biology surpasses that of most adults it seems; fantastic, that aquarium membership). anyways…

Marketing to children is a crazy science. It bugs me too. Keep your kids away from the grocery store or you'll come home with Spiderman branded spaghetti'os (it's whole wheat so it's all good)….riiigghht. Why do they have to brand crap that's full of sugar? Where's the lighning McQueen plain oatmeal? Sorry to derail…my son loved his flamed out Axiom and now has a an XS Bell skate style lid bought at Cove.

Best place to find kids helmets is John Henry Bikes. There is tons of options with designs and colors and sizing.

It seems finding a helmet will be much easier than finding a good shop ;)
