My 2012 888CR sprung a leak at the end of the season, of course I put the bike away months ago and forgot all about it. Grabbed my bike today to do some maintenance and found a small pool of oil on the garage floor.
I fixed the leak, just a loose bolt on the lower rebound side. I am wondering what the correct oil level is, Marzocchi lists 400ml for the "left side" and 80ml for the "right side". A bit confusing.
Left leg is the gold knob side(rebound/compression adjuster side), right is the silver knob side

Left/Right depends on whether you are looking at the bike from the front or from the back… I'm guessing thats where the uncertainty lies. Likely they are referring to the rear view (as if you were sitting on the bike) but you never know…
I just wish that there was some form of easily identifiable marking on a forks lower to stop this possible confusion…

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
It's always the same as how left and right is referred to in a vehicle, from the drivers perspective (hence left hand drive/right hand drive cars).
