who makes 'em? i like my chromag flattie, but the dirty 30 on my other bike has me wanting for more length. just saw the kore 800mm unit, but have yet to find anyone (online or otherwise) that carries them.
30" flat bars
Syncros has their new 30"er out
Sunline is a 29 1/4" but feels pretty damn good.
The new Chromag bars in colourways are pretty cool. Chrome FTW
Funn full on bars
Diety dirty30s are alright.
For bling and weight, I'd go with the Chromags. For weight, I'd go with a FSA Carbon one at 30" wide.
chromag makes a 30" flat now? checking site…
oohhh….whoops. Sorry, the "flat" part totally wooshed over my head.
I was thinking 3/4" rise bars.
Also, a cheap alternative is to get some 1/2" extensions lathed out and plug the ends of your bars.
why not just remove spacer on steertube, and get low riser. I have heard of 30" flat somewhere on sickline, but it's much rarer than low riser.

no spacers / flat stem / singlecrown fork. this should do the trick:
Kyle from Fanatic in Bellingham has one, on his M6.
give them a shout.

Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!
Nothing sums up my life's achievements like my stuffed corpse, suplexing a cougar.

That might ride nice(although I have my doubts) but that looks disgusting.

if someone actually posted the whole bike, you would see it's part of a theme and it works well(if said theme is to look disgusting)

funny how tastes change. i remember (way) back when we thought risers looked lame [HTML_REMOVED] everyone was scrambling to swap to flat bars (which also coincided with long 0 rise stems). riser bars were associated with comfort bikes [HTML_REMOVED] cheap crap; flats were racer hardcore. first time i saw the flat chromags i thought they were kinda odd, now i think they're radtacular. you do have to admit that if nothing else, low risers look better than the 2"+ hucker risers of a few years ago (not to mention cross braces, etc…)
Its si patons Mountain Cycle before it was painted.
Heres it fully built (not the best pic)
As big hitter said it goes with the rest of the bike. And having seen the bike in person it looks really damn good! IIRC hes running them on his 2stage that is in the review process for descent gear and that looked trick as feck too.
Looks arent everything anyway. Much rather have a bike that functions well and looks ok that a really nic looking bike that rides poorly.
Yeah, deep penetration is pretty key. Unfortunately it can be hard to achieve, lubrication can definitely help in some cases.
Is the 30" width really worth it over 28", for example? I'm not talking on a DH race bike either, something for shore, trails, and just everything on a hardtail. Also, on a hardtail (5" fork), there isn't the same benefit of going to a flat bar, is there? I mean, there is no 8" fork in the first place, and the front is the only end to sag, so that helps keep it lower and your weight forward as well.

You're not committed until you start shaving down your headtubes by 1/4 to 1/2 inch like I do.
