Been riding for 30 years; thought I'd seen it all.

Rode unicycle, bmx, road, cyclocross, cross-country, trail, freeride, downhill, dirt jump, fat bikes.

Nothing compares to the fun I experienced on the machine I took delivery of today.

So light and speedy over soft and rough. It's just unbelievable.

Got mine for packin' but the guys around here running forks are smashing their Strava times on the trails.

+ is by far the best gear upgrade since disc brakes. It reinvents the sport.

Also, I really want to thank the NSMB community for being such a tremendously valuable informational resource for me over the last 10 years. From planning BC riding trips to doing technical research, the people that form the fabric of this site have been so inspirational and have had such a positive impact on my progression in cycling.

Maybe its just me but putting a 29" on the mighty pedestal is mighty close to saying your sister is smoking hot.

You're most welcome.

What do you mean you weren't talking about me in particular?

29+ is a thing? And the frame designers thought they had a hard time clearing regular 29 tires!

I would think 29+ would just dumb down the ride entirely. Just smash into shit because of the grip and roll-ability.

reading between the lines ("got mine for packin" and "guys with forks") it sounds like he's talking about rigid bikes

I think Trek are the only big company making 29+.

They make little sense to me unless you want a mile munching gate. 650b+ on the other hand is more fun than a supermodel swingers club.

Too scrawny. I like 'em with a little meat on their bones, eh?
