Thanks for starting the thread and Happy New Year!

Making it easier to add photos to forum posts is on the wishlist - 2025 may finally be the year I'll work on it.

In the short term I'll write up some step by step instructions soon.

You can host pics here on the site. Click on "Photos" in the nav bar at the top, then click "Upload your photos" in the dialog box that pops up. You then get a new page where you can give your photo album a name if you don't have one or if you do just hit cancel and it will take you to your existing album(s). From there you can add a pic either by dragging the pic from your desktop/folder into the box or by searching for the pic on your computer. Then click "Back to album" or "Back to photos" and click on the photo you want to use to open it up full size. Lastly right click on the pic and select "Open in new tab". The pic will open full size in a new tab. Copy the URL and then come back here and either start a new post or edit the one you have. Click on the little picture icon in the text editor where you then paste your pic's URL, hit Confirm and then Submit and you're all set.

Nice! I didn't realize the Arcturian had 2 sets of bottle bosses inside the downtube, am I seeing it correctly?

Rolling into the new year on the ‘ol fat double hardtail. The Wyatt Maverick has been an absolute joy even with a less-than-stellar winter in Alaska. Recently from 175mm cranks/30T chainring to 170mm cranks/26T chainring in a quest for happier knees, and am really enjoying the change, with most riding being close to dead straight chain line, and the Eagle Cog now being a true bailout gear.

After a disappointing couple of weeks without snow, we are finally getting some more. Just a dusting last night but at least the ground is white again!

After a recent ride. It's been cold (for southern UK) with a little dusting of snow.

The 140 Pikes have been stolen by the Murmur but the Solaris is still very fun rigid. I'm thinking there maybe some 2.6" tyres for spring / summer (current thinking is Magic Mary and Wicked Will in Trail casings) which will provide a little more comfort over the 2.4s.

Edit - piccy during last nights ride.  Was a wee bit muddy.  At one point I had to carry the bike as the tyres were so clogged with mud they didn't spin.  Now have the Brooks on the HT and quite like it.
