Long time reader..first time poster,

I was pedalling up on Sunday, when I got to the top I noticed my frame was cracked. How you even crack an alloy frame going uphill is baffling. I'm looking for any help on what recourse I have.
Thanks

That crack is a result of your body weight acting as a lever on the seatpost as you're climbing which 'pulls' on that weld. It's happened to me a few times as I'm tall and need my post sticking way out

That crack had probably been growing for a while but not noticed. Aluminum is like that. No creaking from the crack and it propogates quickly. I'm sure that will be warranted.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

I have a 150mm reverb stealth and my seatpost is almost all the way in..probably less than and inch of the post is out.

If you paid with your credit card, go back to the shop you bought it from. They should be able to help you out

the shop you bought it thru should have the serial # of the frame registered to your receipt
