Somebody want to school me on the point of adjustable height spacers?

Only reason I could see would be swapping stems or forks on a regular basis?

Seems a little like unneeded complication to me.

agreed, seems a little pointless, considering the fact that the steertube is of a fixed length. If you have more then one spacer, you can adjust your stem height just fine because the stack height stays fixed.

As for swapping forks,I know i have a ton of spacers sitting around as they are dirt cheap and handy to have around…

FYI, a pair of those spacers at max height would be lighter than a conventional stack of spacers of the same height.
