I asked them to match a Hucknroll price on something I had purchased on Chainlove. They did it.
Backcountry.com et al is the best online shop I have dealt with period.

They took $50 off for me too! They are honestly the best online store I have ever dealt with. Where else could you buy a 2010 66 rc3 for $250 with free shipping?
How do you get the extra $50 off?
almost bought the wrong fork (44 micro ti), but changed my order and got a 44 RC3. Had to pay $325 plus shipping, so not as good a deal as you guys, but still ok since they actually have put the price back up to $459.

did you get it shipped to Canada for free, or to a US destination? They charged me for shipping.

Wow, glad I jumped on that deal when I did.

I live about 45 mins from the border so I had it shipped to a ups store in the states. As for the $50 off, just after making my order I got an email offer saying that I would get $50 off my next order over $250 but since my fork was over $250 I sent an email asking if the $50 off could be applied to my fork and they did it for me.
Great for me that the price went back up. At $275, I probably would have just pulled the trigger and sat on the fork for a few months while I decided what to do with it, or sillier yet, started an entirely new build around this fork.

That's not silly. I am thinking On-One Summer Season and a few other tidbits will be a very nice AM HT build… :agree:
I may have made a mistake. Anyone know if you can fit a Minion 2.5 in the 44? I'm not keen on the idea of going to a skinnier tire to run these forks. I saw a thread somewhere else where a 2.4 mountain king was rubbing. Not sure if they are a large profile 2.4 or not though as I think Maxxis tends to be on the smaller side. I would never have thought this would be a problem because there is heaps of room to spare in the pike.
Even though Minions tend to run narrow that's still a wide tire to run in a 44… me thinks it will be touch-and-go. I don't see why you can't run a 2.35 instead?
more to the point, why run a big DH tire on an all-mountain/trail bike like the 44 is designed for?
2.5 minion Exo is what I'll be running in the spring (have been on a DH casing one for the last 2 years). It's on a Blur 4X that is my mini DH bike and it feels awesome with a 2.5. If there was not a difference, I wouldn't be concerned but I'm not interested in going back to a 2.35 on that bike any more than I would be on my V10. Especially now that a 2.5 minion is finally available in the light weight version. DH cartridge in the fork, DH meat, DH rear coil and DH angles is what I was dreaming about. Hopefully that's what I'll end up with.
^^ I think it will fit
yeah, i would be surprised if it didn't. you could definitely run that tire on a fox 32 or a rs rev, which are appropriate analogs to a 44
