Last weekend my bro and I hooked up in the 'Loops for a little riding. Instead of carting my bike up my brother contacted Cheryl at Cafe and she hooked us up with 2010 Giant Glory demo.

I only had a short ride on the bike but overall I was impressed. Inspires boatloads of confidence. The bike has numerous great attributes but the one that stood out for me was the weight. It is amazingly light for a DH bike. My bro has the previous Glory model and some serious Jenny Craigin' went on in the Giant factory.
The only minor complaint I had was that the Elixir brakes kept pumpin up and therefore the contact point of the lever constantly changed. It was likely a case that they just needed to be bled…or the -5 temp may have hampered the performance.

On a side note this was my first ride on Harper and it was a blast. Props to all the builders.

Thanks again Cheryl and Bicycle Cafe.

That one is 39lbs. The Glory 00 is 37.

Keep in mind Wayne, that's with bullshit tires and no pedals that the 00 is 37 lbs. But the 01 really is the one to go with for the cash. I weight one with a Michelin 2.8 front tire, and 2.5 rear, and it weighed around 39 lbs. that is impressive.
