Do you guys think that the 2004 Sherman Slider plus would complement well on a Banshee Scream?
2004 Slider plus on Banshee Scream
Sure, why not? 7" with the 7" in the rear would be great.
make sure the headtube is long enough, I've heard about Sherman's not being "long" enough for some DH rigs

They better be! Im not gonna pay $250 for nothing. Now, i only gotta wait 2 more days…. A slider plus on a scream would be amazing. I think i would like it more than that 88 u have on there now.
depends on what size headtube your Scream has…
the Slider onyl fits pretty small headtubes…
if your Banshee uses a long headtube, like alot of VPS bikes do, i doubt it'll fit even with the drop crown..
which by the way only offers about 3/4" of drop…
its retarded… Manitou really needs to sort out the short stack height of the sherman… either make longer stanctions or a REAL drop crown….
cuz the currrent one is way to short…
i've been saying this for 2 years now..and they still dont listen to me…
haahahahah
My headtube is approx 4 3/4 inches long plus my FSA PIG DH headset

no worries, with the drop crown that will work…
Alright IFO, you always stand behind the slider. I am getting rid of the 888's and puting on the slider on my Banshee. 888's felt good but it is too friggin tall for me when I am only 5ft 5inches tall.
post up your impressions of the Slider after a few rides…
i'd be interested in reading em…
p.s. for what its worth i've prolly had my Slider for almost a year now, and i havent even had to service the lowers yet…
the seals remian to this day as intact s when new… nothing leaks out, and nothing gets in..
plus my forks feels/ works as good as the day i got it…as u can tell im so happy with my Slider i'll never sell it…
its been perfect… adn its hella stiff yet super flickable due to the low overal weight really…:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

I'm guessing there are design reasons why this hasn't happened yet. They don't have the largest diameter stanctions - maybe they would snap snap too easy if longer?
http://www.members.shaw.ca/jsnugent/pics/scream ,there are no fit problems. only thing i wish it had is an integrated stem…other than that it feels great

1 more thing WHY O WHY do they do that to there stations.. look like there always dirty :( I hate it!!!! always 1 stantion
:)
I have yet to see a Slider TPC+ or Slider SPV without one stanchion 'stained'.
With a drop crown you are good for at least a 5.25" head tube.
