They should lighten up the frame and id buy one so fast. The only problem is there so damn heavy.

Its also not a true 4 bar linkage system…. pivot should be on the chainstay, not the seat stay.

sorry but your wrong…. a Horst-link bike has a pivot located in the rear of the chain stay (a true 4 bar). The Banshee has the pivot located on the lower seat stay… non Horst.

Aren't Treks just single pivots ?

The banshees linkage is called a walking beam design.

what he said.

and yea man, i guess we're special :o nah, whatever. i loved what they looked like. i only saw the CAD drawings but from what I saw I'm stoked on seeing some production bikes.

…as for the weight.
if you're riding one it feels like less weight. im serious. its a little hefty at first. takes a bit to comphensate for but once you do its just a stiff strong ride that pedals pretty descent for 8". you wouldnt feel the difference between a 13.5 pound frame/shock and a say…11 pound frame anyways. Besides. 90% of how a bike feels in terms of weight is how you set it up. It's obviously gonna be a tank with 03 Monsters (sorry mike :P) and a bunch of tank stuff. But coming from myself who rode it with 99 Monsters it wasnt that bad. You get used to it really quick.

besides there's always the chapparal for those of you dont want the weight. and those are killer. stiffer than a bullit stronger than a bullit and lighter than a bullit. IMO it would pedal better to.

already this is enough of a rant hahaha i noticed this looking for another one of my posts in the search thinger.
