OK….so I got some directions on how to remove the PAR in my forks and I seems to have a bit of a problem. Looks like the instructions are for an older style of fork??

Anyway this pic is of what I have…

And this is a pic that is in the directions I have…

So….. My question is… What do i have to remove to get rid of the PAR on my 08 fork?

False alarm……. Got it figured out. Pretty obvious…. LOL

Had to dissassemble the cartridge…ooops. Pretty simple design actually.

As you can see in the pic it is obvious why the PAR wasn't working.

You want to remove the PAR altogether?

Yep… Apperantly it makes for a more liniar (sp?) fork and makes full travel available with less harshness..

could I get a link to those instructions? I've been looking at taking the par out of my fork but haven't had any luck finding instructions.

open up fork, remove bits from the spring side, remove the part held on with strings, put back together. :P

Beat me to it…..

The directions are a bit off, but that's the gist of it all. Really simple to do…
