Sorry if this is a re-post. I know NMSB had a pre-production article regarding the 07 Specialized lineup; here's what looks to be the production model.
07 Demo

better than argyle. I don't mind it. Demo 7 would be a nice bike.
From what I SAW at my LBS's 07 merchant retail binder (woah, that was a mouth full), this pictured frame happens to be the Demo 8 Frame Option. The specd Demo 8 is argyle along with the Demo 7 II. Demo 7 Frame is the tattoo version. Demo 7 I is painted with several colors fading into each other, somewhat like the photos that have been circling the net (fade from green, other colors, to green). For those whom disapprove of the argyle, need not to worry - they are stickers.
On another note, they are offering the 07 SX Frame in Bear blue!

yup, saw that all today. Red is the Frame Only option.
I think it would look better if they lost some of the pinstripes. Other than that, NICE!!

I hope my new demo 7 looks likee ass, the more ghetto the better.
It's gonna ride like a dream I know it. Specialized enginneers wouldn't
make all the changes to the frame and such if it was not for the better.

Why ever they would ruin the demo 8 by replacing it with this horrid looking beast is beyond me. I know its apparently easier to acess the shock and cheaper to produce but im still not liking it one bit.
actually i'm kinda liking this one…..
Personally argle maybe looks good in small doses, or on socks. In my opinion that bike would look a lot better in the gun metal colour underneath. I assume the stickers would peel off…
