05, 06, 07 Norco Six Frame weights?

Being that this is such a popular frame (I own an 05), I'm hoping that someone on the list has put his (or her) frame on a scale. I'm interested in the changes they have made over the years and how that has translated into absolute lbs. Norco does not supply frame info on the website only full bike weight. Thanks!

What a totally random post. He's not asking about the shore at all, however, there is some validity to the statement.

I have a 2006 Six One and with the DHX3 coil it's a touch under 10lbs for the frame (A pound heavier than the nomad and SX trail).
The 07 have cut a little bit of material out and are stocking them with air shocks, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were slightly under the 9lb mark.
The 05 Six is a totally different bike, it's slacker, heavier and much closer to what the new Shore frame is, than it's namesake.
Riding an 05 Six and hopping on an 06 may be a little unnerving, but the new bikes ride so well, it won't take long to adjust.

My friend has an 2007 Six three, completely stock. He bought it about 2 months ago. We weighted on this digital scale and it came in at 33.XX pounds. Not bad at all i must say

Is that a medium or a small? What size tires are you running?

I have a medium that I have 2.5 Nevegals on with a 66 SL ATA and I figure it is right about 44 or so.

I would love to get it on a diet as SdB likes to race on a head on his bike.

No offence, but I doubt it's under 40lbs. on my 06 Six I'm running Syncros DS25 rims with 2.5 folding bead tyres and XC tubes, a fox 36 and Syncros bar (light) and Stylo cranks (superlight), and it comes in at 37lbs. Diabolous stuff is really heavy as are the tyres you are running.
It is a nice bike though. The 05 really is a solid machine.

Silly Six'ers. Step into the way bcak machine and check out the original 2002 Fluid VPS.

It's slack to start with, then put a 05 66 on it and it's like DH race bike slack, if the seat angle wasn't so bad it would be a much better bike.
