It is a well observed fact that flats occur in multiples of three.

I feel like this needs it's own collective noun.

How about a "murder of flats" cuz you just wanna strangle someone when you get one.

It's really no trouble to put a seat bag tool kit on a commuting bike - what holds you guys back from doing that?

Question: what are you using for a pump? My hand pump (albeit a relatively cheap one) can't even get close to the pressure I need on my commuter tyres.

Hope you pay if forward to some poor person in need some day!

That is the plan, karma rules.

what, flats are caused by rain???

No, simply stating that I log WAY less km's and therefore I'm likely to flat less than someone who rides 365.

You can use CO2 for higher pressures or get a road specific pump? I usually get it up to as high a pressure as I can with my regular pump then top it off with CO2 if it still feels to soft.

Fool. The probability of flatting is governed by Murphy's Law, not the laws of probablility. Case in point. You ride over broken glass and razor sharp rocks to get to a super-bermed rollie packed-loam trail without flatting, and then you flow into the loam - 8 inches in psssssssssssssssssssst.

Huh, it seems those CO2 pumps are way cheaper than I assumed they would be.
