ya I bought sugoi ones. they work fine but they are a bitch to put on and take off.
so far its seems easiest to leave them on the shoe but then getting your shoes on and off is now shitty .
guess Ill go back and get some tiaga ones

anybody have a pair of the old canvas MEC ones? (the ones that were recalled for no good reason?)
I lost mine, and MEC don't have any. Want to buy some more, and craigslist don't have any.
I'm sick of wet feet every day and don't like the neoprene ones.
mine are toast and need to buy anouther pair. any suggestions? the cheapo ones at mec look like they suck
For commuting or mountain riding?
I hate the covers riding trail, you can buy gortex liners that go over your socks inside the shoe. Me likey that better

I ended up buying the mavic winter waterproof shoes for wet weather. they are nice but expensive
couldnt find booties I liked for commuting
i've been running the cheap MEC ones. sure they are a bit floppy and look dorky but they keep my feet nice and dry and warm. no problem with clipping in/out.
BBB Hardware I have 2 of these and have been really happy with them.
Seriously you need to try these. I love them.

Are they easy on/off? (They're for commuting.)

They don't sell 'em any more.
if you want to take your booties off in the bike room and walk to the office then tight ones are a huge pain in the ass. if you walk in them they last 6months tops
the old style ones seem non existent now
this is what I bought

Thanks for the Taiga tip, though.

my mec booties are essential commuting gear at this time of year, glad to know there's a replacement option out there for when they need replacing

BC Liquor Stores white plastic bags are of very good quality, used them as gaiters quite successfully before. Why not try them out? You KNOW you have a whole kitchen drawer full of them…

I have something similar; same design but a different manufacturer. They pull on easily as they stretch, are excellent for keeping the water out, and keep my feet warm on cold and dry days. Much better than the rigid nylon covers off old. Good for MTB and road shoes.
