Just made some sweet fenders out of some plastic report covers from the office. I can't believe people pay $40 at MEC for these.

^^^ That frame looks purpose built to carry a 64oz growler. Kudos.

Agreed. Sweet retro-ride.
Wrong. Always.
And to think I was going to start a thread looking for a do it all commuter wonder bike.

A proper front fender will keep your feet dry… Worth the $30 bucks IMO

Tried. Not enough clearance for proper fenders. I've been planning on putting on some longer reach brakes and smaller diameter rubber to make more room but it's at the bottom of the job jar.
Just put this together from spare parts. Tires were 15 bux a peice at MEC. Rides great, will be a great cruiser for hitting up the microbreweries and sunset rides.
People always ask me what's the phenomenon
Yo what's up? Yo what's goin' on- Adam Yauch
hope these pics work

Anyone have a old used 26" 1-1/8 -100mm -9mm spare rigid fork they wanna sell cheap? Or where would I get one for under 50 bux in town?
Can't find anything online that is reasonable.

Dont have one on hand, but how about Sports Junkies? They seem to have lots of older stuff kicking around.

Always good to carry a spare
Since my old commuter was a bit run down after 13 years of roads I treated myself to a new commuter....a Ragley Trig gravel bike.
That is one hell of a fun ride that brought back the fun of riding to work. In fact I do my groceries and most of my errands with the bike. Now my legs have to adapt to climbing that much (300 to 400 m of climbing when commuting or riding errands, depending on route).
