yup no doubt punky . . . if yer looking for just a pleasant ride , go marine drive . depending on what you are riding , there is a gravel crush multi use bike route right after the fire house / gleneagles golf course which won't save any time or make convenience , just a little diversion from the standard paved route .

I have seen road bikes on the shoulder of Hwy 1 between Horseshit Bay and CyprAss. Is that even allowed?
Bikes are fine on Hwy 1 from Horseshoe Bay all the way to Capilano Road. No bikes allowed between Capilano Road and the 2nd Narrows Bridge.
