After a month or so clear, it's happening again. I've sprung for a new set of tyres.

are probably the best puncture resistant tire I've ever owned. Available in multiple widths and folding or wire bead. They are available locally and online 45-60 bux a tire. The only thing that comes close is the older Specialized tires with the Armadillo lining. I had trouble cutting through them with an Olfa knife when the rubber finally wore out after about 7000km's.
I get about 9000km's from the Conti's on the rear.
I've tried quite a few tires in the past 11 years going from Deep Cove to Vancouver. The usual suspect for flats for me is the 1.5" square tags from lumber ends that blow off and land with a staple pointing up. Hate those things.
Of course, YMMV, but I'm stoked with the Conti's as they are pretty light as well, and ride well.
