Not sure this is enough or whether there is sufficient publicity but at least it's a step in the right direction...

just ride at least 1.5m left oft any car, fuck the cars behind you. if they honk head over to the middle of the lane. they clearly need some education then.
You've clearly never ridden on amerikkkan roads.
Increasing the fine won't make any difference at all as a deterrent but the act of increasing it will work as a reminder to the public. Which is worth doing but it will only be effective for a short period. So the solution - quadruple the fine every 6 months! 😁
You need to wear reflective vests and increase penalties!
Have a burned in memory from when I was a kid in the eighties of watching the street cleaners sweep up the aftermath of a death from dooring.
A woman on an early mountain bike was booking it along Marine Dr in West Van when someone opened a door right into her, she swerved hard and went under the cement truck next to her.
I've been 100% vigilant of giving doors a wide enough berth ever since.
Those few arrogant drivers out there are not going to change their habits regardless of who it might kill or increased fines.
Never not be afraid.

Never not be afraid.
That’s brutal.

Not dooring, but a recent experience. Keep alert, even if your are in a concrete barriered bike lane.
