Do you get angry if you can't bike in?

The last few icy days, I didn't ride in to work as Im kind of a wuss. I missed it so much and found myself shaking my fist at the snow on the ground and wondering why the bike paths weren't cleared.
Today's ride in was glorious.

I get really pissed. I get especially pissed when the weather is nice and I can't bike in because of some commitment that requires me to use a vehicle.

Honestly I like the break. We all ride so much that the few days a year on the bus or car-pooling is nice in getting a feel for the other side of the way in to work.

Also getting a few days off gives nice strong legs for the night rides on the Shore.

I've been riding everyday, and I should've taken the break. Wednesday night I was coming home late and passing through East Van, it was like I took a wrong turn onto a zamboni'd rink! Heading down a hill on Gravely, I lost it and slid on my side for probably 50 feet into a curb.

Probably should've taken the train.

traffic is starting to suck so bad most days in north van i prefer to ride.
I didn't today and I'm kinda regretting that choice right now.

Honestly I like the break.

Ya. Even today when the conditions were probably fine for riding, I chose to Skytrain it. Been tired all week and it's nice to take a few days off from the pedalling.

I've already slammed once this season from a slippery patch, so I'm still being pretty cautious.

That said, I'm back on the bike come Monday

I rode on Wednesday and it was fine but the bigger tyres really make for a slog up the hill on the way home. I don't get angry but I sure do miss it!
