addressing well known danger spots in blind and high speed zones on the remaining trails. Somewhere along the line, they also need to evaluate the cost of maintaining some popular but older trails vs. building new, sustainable and low maintenance trails. This shouldn't be a revelation; many people comment to the same effect.
exactly couldnt have said it better myself.
Hadn't been up in a couple weeks. All the work is still soft…but I'm not hatin' on the new mods…'Ain't no scrubs', 'Way Out' will definitely be neat and unique(at least to me) when it firms up. High berms with lots of vertical drop. Pretty cool. Good vision there Guys! Home Run has some nice little tweaks added.
BUT…
Sweet One still isn't open. And Sugar needs some of those old goods added back, tho it isn't too bad as is right now.
Sugar and Sweet One are two of the staples to this hill. Sun Peaks…do what you're doing…but keep those two trails at 100%
Last day Monday…I'll be there. But SP can do WAY BETTER overall.
I say refocus for the win.

yes, yes yes. Those(sugar and sweet one) are staples in any day up there.
WTF, Over?
Headin' up for the last afternoon in a minute…
They did finally open up a bridge/skinnies section on Sugar.
SO CLOSE! Almost made it thru the SP season without breakage. Last day, last run…right at the bottom of Homerun…100m to go…snag up the derailleur and bust off the hanger

Conditions are fantastic. If you're humming and hawing about getting up for opening weekend, stop thinking and just do it.
Riding Sun Peaks Aug 4th. What can I say? Dusty, bumped, bombed, and fun.
If you want to level up your riding game Sun Peaks will force you to get better.
Rode it today…conditions are stone cold perfect:)…and the crew is doing a much improved job maintaining …Cheers Boys!
Sweet One supposed to be open soon! (don't recall if it was this weekend coming or the next…but at least a couple weeks of use anyways)
