trails were running sooo good! Looks like double dog got a little loving too, that trail is the bees knees!!!

australia was actually founded by criminals and its original purpose was for england to send over its criminals so the brits wouldnt have to deal with them in England, minding this was over 100 yrs ago.

Yes, it was a great two days with much better weather than last year! SS did a great job of getting runs open with more opening on Sunday as well. Great showing of Rad Company Saturday night as well.

As usual the crowd was super stoked and laid back SS style. Lots of high fives for the kids and fast laps with buddy's in between.

The boy was liking his wall rides and LTG was actually flowing.

The girl growing her wings on Shazam:

Mrs. WH roost to snow bank:

Ummmm… WTF… Troy Brosnan just hanging out at SS? Boy was STOKED. Talked about it all weekend:

Then he went and did his best Troy Brosnan impersonation:

The girl was fond of Double Dog - how does that trail re-loam every year:

Mom and daughter heading to the mall:

Boy now trying to move the bike in the air:

Heading "Downtown", which has had some work done at the bottom:

Ummmm - 10 year old girl Brraaaap!

Why Silver Star? Because, this:

The Bulldog was flooded in the winter and the pub/restaurant and basement hotel rooms are closed. This limits dinner choices to the Saloon, which has a rule about not accepting food orders past 8:00?

Bagaboos Cafe said it will be open this weekend, meaning there will now be a breakfast option outside of the coffee bar.

Awesome opening weekend. Hero dirt, just enough muddy spots to keep it entertaining, and no brake bumps. Hoping to head up again Monday.

Curious what others are running for tires at silver star. It's looking like time for some new rubber for me.

Pretty nice trail network you got up there. My favourites are ps walk the line, gnar, and double dog. Walk the line flows so nicely when you let off the brakes. Keep up the good trail building work.
