Gower. Come on. You of all people shouldnt be tryin to hype up rumors.

So the opening will be delayed from the snowfall but absolutely the park will be open.

Changes in hours are in the works but the lifts will be running for the bikes this year!

oh well, lots of other places to ride…maybe monster mile wont be dusty for the BC Cup this year…just buried in snow..haha

Ba ha ha ha ha ha - it'll be dusty…even if they have to fly a rocket over it…

There was still snow at the top last year!

Not such good news… (according to a friend that works up the Mountain) it is likely that they will not be digging out the trails this year like they did last year. The process was too expensive and not worth the investment.

I will give it a miss this year. Regardless if they open.
I wish Mt Washington would give a shit. Maybe some marketing and advertising.
Let the people know before hand what the upcoming season holds.
It seems to work pretty well for every other bike park. Whistler and Silverstar due a great job
Mt Washington… the bike park that almost was…

For those in the Comox Valley or close by, season passes to Washington are still on early bird rates until tomorrow! Get them now before they go from $220 to $275.

Gonna say a big fuck you to Mt Washed-up-ington and not get a pass. They always have been about 5 years behind EVERY other resort.
After such a wicked winter, how can they not step up their game in the bike park.

I think they'd be ok if they could reign in their trailbuilders. A lot of the trails seem to be made more towards a select few people rather than the masses. My wife has lots of fun on blue trails at Whistler and Silver Star, but the blue trails on Washington aren't very friendly for letting newbies progress. I think they need to add some crank it up style jumps and wall rides to their new "beginner friendly" trail, instead of just having a 4' wide path that leads from the top of the mountain to the bottom.

^ There's no way my wife would enjoy any of the trails at MW. While I like riding there
I'd rather take a trip to WBP and take the wife, more variety for all.

Well I drove up on Saturday after a run at Forbidden, and I don't know how they expect to be open by the 15th. They said that they were shoveling out trails but it doesn't look like things have even been touched, and there has got to be 6' of snow minimum on the slopes that I could see from the bottom of the Hawk chair.

Should invest some $$ into a lift on Forbidden…hell all the towers are still there, and set up a dedicated bike park there.

Christ, imagine a day on Forbidden on the lift, then taking 2 Sheiks to the bottom for a swim at Barbers hole.
