I am moving back home.
I was checking out the bike parks around my hometown, and holy shit there is tons!
It seems that things have changed a LOT in the last ten years. The style looks very much inspired by the shore and whistler. Lots of alpine riding available too. Nothing as big and extensive as what you can find around Vancouver but I am looking forward to check them out next summer. It s likely to keep growing in the next years.
Just for tease here are small selection within only 80km from town:

i've been to les deux alpes and to la grave. l2a mostly has tracks with banked curves, but it closed some parts since i've been there. the run down to venosc is nice, in total you can ride there from 3200m down to the valley of venosc at 900m

la grave has very steep hiking paths, some with lots of exposure. also one of the craziest gondola of the alpes ;)
