Some ramps are actually being removed. Was the Schleyer drop a victim the snowpack or was it just time to replace it? Either way it's gone.

Is this another place to discuss the riot?

you're a riot
Wow Betty [HTML_REMOVED] Veronica sold out fast.
I was sad to not have the 4 Kings this year, but stoked Tony is doing an event for the ladies.
Wood Riddance :grinno:
Just need a trail beside the fatcrobat log and I will throw a party.
wood at the start of dirt merchant is gone too, and the squirrel catcher at the start of aline is a small double, although you can roll through some rocks in between too…
Bummer the Schleyer drop is gone - I suspect it was the victim of some analysis from bike patrol. Sure seemed like a lot of wrecks took place there. Probably safer in the long term to make it "easy" but permit more skilled, and creative riders to boost it. Anyone remember the short time after Schleyer was built when that was a mandatory drop as there was no ladder there? Yee haw!

The old one was pretty easy for an over zelous and under skilled rider to send it to flat. The new one not so much. I think patrol will scrape up significantly fewer pancaked tourists there this year.

Yup. Though I always found it surprising that the drop below that, down in the woods, where B Line nearly parallels it, does not have a ride-around. You could kinda fudge it as a noob on Schleyer until you get to that point.

If I'm thinking of the same drop, there was a rollable line on it.

don't tell my wife it's not rollable.

wood at the start of dirt merchant is gone too
Wow… excuse me?
Man I haven't been up there this year, in years past I would have been there at least each weekend. Going to wait till the upper mountain is open and I can get my hands on a bike that is more appropriate for the mountain. So basically see you in October. But next year is looking more and more likely.

Was up to Whistler this weekend, the upper part is still not open though. They are hoping to have it open for the July 1st weekend.
