Stage 1 is a Technical Time Trial with 5 observed technical climbing sections that if not "cleaned" will result in 30 sec per section added to your total time. We filmed all 5 being cleaned, so there is no excuse to get time added! It also reveals the locations so you can go practice!

My seat doesn't go that high. How can I be expected to compete?

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

if it was a nascar course, all left turns, you could run a flat on the inner crank (low profile, natch) and clipless on the outer crank..

That's why you pre-ride, so you can learn your course and decide which crank needs a flat pedal…

Doh I went and rode Upper Griffen tonight looking for the special climbing sections.

Might have to go for a quick spin tomorrow am and check these out.
