This trail is apparently built in a zone that was used as a battlefield in WWI. Now it's just some sweet jumps… and bad music.

Watch here...

My ears are bleeding….the riding looks like fun tho. I would hit it. But have to check out Switzerland first, and after that another couple of days riding in Tyrol.

That trail looks amazing! And great video. The music really distracts you from the riding though.

wow… some MIDI's from a 1992 video game would sound better than that. But ya, neat trail?

I've only been there on foot, but what a backdrop!

you need to come back with your bike, there are 5 uplift opportunities around bozen, 4 of them belonging to the local public transport system. this means you can ride them for a whole week, costing only 28eur + 6eur extra each day for the bike transport. the 5th lift costs 5eur for each ride. connecting you to a total of at least 15 different runs, most of them easy reachable without much climbing. and all in a very dry climate zone = nearly year long riding as there is not much snow and the hills are inbetween 1100 to 2000m and the valley ground at around 300m above the sea. perfect for the spring when its still cold everywhere else :)

Hey Morgman and Sethimus,

why not plan some sort of a "bb.nsmb.com-european-member-all-in" group ride for one of the next years?

Jokes aside, Morgman, if you decide to return to South Tyrol or the Alps for a ride, I'd be happy to join you and Sethimus for a ride.
