After a few weeks of submissions, we've seen a ton of bangers in the Hit Us With Your Best Shot photo contest. Oh, what people are willing to do when a new bike is on the line. We've collected a bunch of our favourites, but many have been left out – check out the whole set on the NSMB Facebook page!

Interesting to see the professional photographers entering the contest. Good luck to all the amateurs.

Well in my opinion the pros make money off photography for a living and are very good at what they do. Now lets have a bunch of photo contests for any one to enter which is fine. Now all the pros can enter every contest and win free stuff. Fine by me if thats the rules. So why don't we see the big names like Lorance or Hyland entering these contests. Just seems a bit lame to me.

people that make a living off photography don't pay the rent giving away photos for free in a contest

photographers looking for exposure perhaps do

In case you didn't know, Hyland is shooting for Pinkbike as a staff photographer. This is a NSMB contest…..

I don't think there is anybody in the photographers who submitted that "make a living" doing photography. I'm pretty sure that everyone who has submitted images have a full time job that is not photography….

it would be nice to see another photo contest based on the photo's actual merit rather than just a Facebook popularity contest.
