Ha - Wrong NSMB. Here in PG we drink PWB, and it's usually in front of the liquor store…

I'm more interested in the totally whacky, way out there silly stuff that's on the fringe. Not useful stuff, just the remarkably odd stuff that leaves you wondering what it's for.
All the mainstream stuff just looks like a re-hash of every other bike show.

Thanks for the input, all.
Biggles - we'll make sure to get some whacky stuff in our coverage before we go.

Could we see some pix of the Leatt H4 pack and similar?

I've got a photo in my day 1 article here; if I see anything along the same lines today I'll snap some shots.

If Santa Cruz can fly muddy bikes in to the country I wonder what else they could get through the air port?

yes! i miss the wacky invention days of yore. not much real innovation going on these days; granted bikes are really quite amazing currently compared to what we used to ride. i'm still waiting on gearboxes to come on line. drivetrain still remains the weakest link; lots of opportunity there.

my first couple times to interbike were more or less pre-internet (yes, it existed, but industry info wasn't immediately disseminated like it is now), and the main source of info was from the magazines, which had a several month lag time. interbike then was a wondrous place, packed with radical new stuff…
