Stevie for Prime Minister!

The long drought is over. It's been twenty years since a Canadian (guess who) had won a downhill World Cup. Steve Smith has smashed through that barrier and brought the top step of the podium home.

So awesome! As of Monday morning, Devinci still has no mention of his win on the front page of their website. Come on Devinci and get it together!

To equate Steve Smith's accomplishment with the attainment of political office is uncalled far. Please retract and apologize for your insult to Steve and the DH World Cup.

Perfect! He is like Joe Sakic…. Few words spoken. Gets it done when it counts, in a big way!

I think you've misunderstood. We're nominating Steve to lead the country, not equating racing and national politics!

The rerun is on Redbull TV and highlights on Dirt.

Stevie was very gracious in victory in congratulating his teammates etc. He's a great kid. Glad to see him get the win he deserves.

^^^^^ Thanks. I find the way they cover the events great on RB TV. All the crankworks coverage was great too.

I'll take Smith over Harper as PM any day. At least he's someone we can look up to with admiration, and not a mean bugger who smacks his wife around!
