Riley's drawing parallels between his Kona Honzo and the Honey Badger.

I'm convinced. I don't see how it isn't a bike review; no one cares whether the gears shift or the suspension lockout locks out. The only real question to ask is: can this bike actually shred? Clearly it can.
that was awesome! what a great read. and i love how he passed the dh'ers
I liked it
LOL, I read that last bit in the voice from the video…I never knew that's what Riley sounded like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNlSv4SUYWo
a review of how a bike makes you feel rather than what it does was long overdue. a good read!
great read from Riley again!
:canada:
Hell yeah, one nice read. I liked how Riley described his thoughts while pedalling up Provost. Nice one. And the Dh episode…funny as hell. Made me giggle. Steel is just one awesome frame material.

Another good write up, man! I've been riding my Honzo since March and couldn't agree more. The Honzo is badass. I've thrown tons of super technical lines at high speeds at it and it's doesn't seem to care. It just powers through them.
I recently through a 140 fork on it. Loves it!
great work! I'm stoked.
A fun read!
I agree with Riley about the ideas expressed on the Honzo.
Mine rips as well!
However, I completely disagree with his thoughts on the wheelset. The freehub on mine exploded 3 weeks into owning the Honzo. Then it took 2.5 months to get it sorted out through warranty.
And they are boat anchor heavy!

Considering steel frames cost more to produce, the Honzo stock spec is decent for the $1899 price tag ($1999 for the 2013 with some upgrades). Fortunately a Shimano M475 freehub body is ridiculously cheap and easy to change out. I blew up a 475 freehub within a couple months but its replacement has gone a couple years.
Now that is a bike review that will never be out of date. Right on, Riley!
It ain't the bike it's the rider.
Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.
