the first little bit of riding the sand slope is ok, but the trail section is some pretty wicked riding and filiming as well.

Wow. The trail riding is unreal - the hip and the other jumps in the forest are unbelievable. The slow mo definitely showed the size of the riding - sick.
The "skiing" at the beginning looks like fun - having a good time with your riding buddies and having a laugh.

First part is a sandpit off the Rialto FSR outside of Robson… just a few kms below the exit to the Awakener. Then it transitions to Nelson so I believe it could be Shitaker.

He is on a Trance SX (27.5), Pretty much the same bike I have but his has a Pike vs the Talas. Maybe if I had the Pike on my bike I could ride those lines, or not.
The problem with well done videos like this one, is that the lines although they look insanely steep and committed are never really able to show how truly steep they are. I have seen some other videos with some steep lines on Squamish trails that I recognize and think are steep and committed, however, on video it looks pretty basic.
So props to the person who put this vid together as it does show the lines as steep, but major props to the rider who has some crazy skills.

True, quite often videos do not capture the difficulty of a given stunte/feature/line. There is this one big rock on a pretty well known trail that is still calling my name all those years later…and one day, I hope, I ride it.
