Sheesh, It took him long enough to get that carbon monster written up. I took those pictures early last summer so he's almost been on it more than 3 seasons. Scandalous amount of time to ride 1 bicycle…esp for him.

And I agree, three years on one bike is a challenge, at least for a gearhead.
There are certain bikes, which are so good that it gets a no-brainer though.
My current ride will see it s second season in 2010. Maybe I ll even make it a hattrick.

about time huh? can only milk the new baby thing for so long.
i do struggle with the reality of owning the same bikes for several seasons. we gearheads are wired to always want for the latest [HTML_REMOVED] greatest new tech, and, like an addiction, the desire for exotic-ness spirals constantly upward. given what's currently available, my next bike would invariably be more pedestrian, which is unsettling. almost disturbing. such is my plight.

I was looking to buy one a couple years ago, but didn't pull the trigger when I saw all the news about undelivered frames, 2 year wait times, and some other bad stuff.

no. company is done. it's too bad aaron couldn't make things happen; a brainy guy with lots of neat ideas. i think he needed to partner with someone to handle the business side of things whilst he focussed on design [HTML_REMOVED] building. though i'm not entirely sure these things could have been built cost effectively / profitably regardless - expensive material costs [HTML_REMOVED] high skilled labor requirements.
it's a great proof of concept though: that's it's possible to build a durable, reasonably lightweight, pro level gearbox dh chassis - with composite construction - using current technology [HTML_REMOVED] readily available components. the fact one guy in his garage pulled this off is especially impressive.
