I was just poking around on On-One's site and saw they have a ti hardtail designed around a 160mm fork. $1100 to my door.

I got a Cove Handjob that could easily be built for the shootout, plus my Lumberjack is prime right now.

Cove vs Chromag vs Dekerf vs Lumberjack vs Surly vs OffRoadToad vs ?

SC Chameleon here.

I'll toss my surly 1X1 into the mix. make a special trip to the coast for it.

Just a speculative fiction. No cause for alarm.

Sheesh, this is starting to sound more like a revival meeting. All that is missing is some large tent in a muddy field and some guy in a suit singing hallelujah.

02 Balfa Minuteman! I'll wear my roach leg guards that were made with flames like Chris Holm wore in Ride to the Hills. I think.

I've got some Hoots pads that will go nicely!

t-ray - don't forget that my Dekerf is a Generation. It's got a gusset under the top tube and burlier tubing than the team bikes. When Colin won it he asked Chris Dekerf about wheelie dropping to flat on A Walk in the Clouds (aka a shitload of nails). Chris' response: "have at 'er."

He may have been intoxicated though.

Just for a touch of modernity, my Ibis Tranny too.

Debate? Bikes are made for riding not pushing.

I think I need to add a down tube gusset to my retired Brodie Catalyst frame and put it back together…
