I think this whole process has taken me six years - from when I got the frame to now. It's all been worth it.

Here she is...

i'd hit it

We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

I think the Talas is a great choice for this bike, and having put 80 or so rides on my 140 version, I'm happy with it. Something makes me think I should be looking for a steel hardtail, even though I love the handling of my SC Chameleon.

I have finally forsaken SPDs after a long relationship. I don't think I'm much slower on the way up and I'm certainly faster on the way down. Most importantly I have more fun.

Yes!

Also, that's a seriously beautiful bike.

chromag has a few new frames… One thing about your bb height comment and comparing it to chromag, I always found that chromag has really low bb compared to others. Check other "modern" hardtails like transition, cove, santacruz… their bb's are some what higher. That being said I must agree, yours seem a tad high. btw love the paint, looks great. That's a good looking bike, don't scratch it!

Damn beauty, but heavier than I expected. Only 2lbs lighter than my Reign 0 and I have a bigger fork, heavier wheels, chainguide, DH bar, etc etc….

The Chromag Aperture is a frame that I'm considering selling the Reign for.
