The meeting, complete with pizza and beer, was a somewhat heated affair at times.
nsmbA AGM 2008
wow cam, you got that up fast. one thing i think that's really important to stress is the need for people to get involved on the operational side of the nsmba. part of the reason the organization had some difficulties last year was due to the lack of bodies to get everything done.
one thing the nsmba really needs is someone to help out with the website. if any of you qualified web designers care to lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated.
We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Actually Cam, the guy with the 243 frame is some other dude… think his name is Jason Wolfe or something like that… ;-)
Mathew Bond
Martin Little John
Robin Harvey
Dieter Bahr (Until someone wants to take over the position of Trails at NSMBA)

I think it's fair to say a big Thanks to you Cam, articles like this see a lot of eyes and give the NSMBA a lot of exposure (as exhibited by the amount of e-mails I had this morning about my wheels).
Hey don't forget the $150 footwear and gait analysis GC from

That I may have won.
Is there a Vancouver in Taiwan?! I had no idea!!
Nothing sums up my life's achievements like my stuffed corpse, suplexing a cougar.
correction Cam - Sven Luebke was in charge of Trails as well as Dieter.
Sorry I couldn't attend. It's been a blast! Thanks for all the good times!
Thanks for all your hard work Sven!
Thanks for all your hard work Sven!
It was fun!
(I just wasn't in charge of communications)
and yeah, the winner of the 243 is Jason Wolfe, not at all released to Michelle Dumaresq
any mention of when/where the gear swap will be in a couple of months?
The gear swap was something I found odd…
the exec made clear how much money was made from this years compared to other years… yet then later they said they wanted to move it to another date.
not sure i understand the logic behind that…
Also, the forum on the nsmba site was discussed (on how difficult/unknown it was to use).
I'm wondering, is it possible, if all party's were in agreement, to have a dedicated forum here on this site for the nsmba? It could be moderated by the nsmba exec, etc…
sure would make lives easier and bring lots of viewership to the nsmba!!

Or they could just send out a monthly/qtrly e-mail to all the people on their list. How hard is that?
newsletters are good (and required!), absoutely.
but a forum thats easily accessible where people can ask questions, post comments/suggestions/etc… would also be very beneficially.
and where better then here! again, as long as there are no legal issues, both sides want it, and so on
