I liked the story and the idea of a race like that.
True Mountain biking.
Something tells me that the race was secondary to the actual experience of just being there.
Different element for all the riders.
That would be so cool!!!!!

I have an email in to him about that but my guess would be Enduro. Tough to see though.

Amazing that you can get there with a bike.

Great story Darren, thanks for sharing!

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

wow. Three days hike a bike for a 1.5-2 hour downhill. That's hardcore! And I though T-lake was a long ways up. What an amazing opportunity.

So, how about the rankings for the uphill portion? Wasn't this an adventure race? Figure the time should start when the event starts.

It's an enduro. At first, I got all excited because I though it was the new DH bike. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be not.

I think he's just hamming for the camera. He's one super-fit mofo these days. You should see him on the technical climbs. He makes it stuff up that I didn't think was possible.
